Req ID 32195BR Title Division ManTech System Engineering Corporation Location TEXAS Biggs AAF Security Clearance Required Yes Clearance Level Needed Secret Job Duties and Responsibilities Direct, develop, and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the logistical actions to support the BPSCC/LSC property program. a. Identifying the specific requirements for money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support the program; b. Correlating such requirements with the program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place, including acquisition and transportation; and c. Correlating such requirements with agency program planning, funding, and management information systems. * Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time, which requires some degree of specialized knowledge of some or all of the logistics support activities involved. * Performs tasks relative to the control of government property. * Conducts periodic inventories of government furnished material and equipment. * Maintains inventory records on government and capital equipment. * Tracks, monitors, and reports the status and usage of government property. * Prepares reports and documents in compliance with government procedures and requirements. * Support the BPSCC/LSC by applying theory, concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management. * Make critical judgments and provide approval on the resolution of technical, schedule, performance, or budgetary problems. * Performs other duties as assigned which may require specific physical abilities. * Develop, direct, coordinate, and control technical and administrative activities. * Provide direction and guidance to the LSC Mid and Junior level Logistics Technicians. Qualifications Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and three to four years of related experience. The BPSCC/LSC Senior Logistics Technician shall have experience working with the following regulations/procedures:
the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), DRMS, LESO, DOD, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
