* Collaborate with all functional areas, external partners and customers to effectively lead all aspects of the Audio/VideoProcessing portfolio of products. This includes, but not limited to:
[1] financial oversight, [2] overall responsibly for the product strategy and life cycle for existing and new products, and [3] leadership responsibility for the team. * Plan, schedule and implement overarching processes, organizational systems and structures for the most efficient use of resources, monitoring performance against objectives and facilitating the achievement of operational objectives with optimum results. * Establish and communicate clear priorities and direction for the product line team based on strategic objectives and market conditions. * Collaborate with Engineering counterparts to manage multiple complex projects with an emphasis on providing quality products on schedule, at or below budget, and achieve the stated financial objectives. * Ensure detailed marketing plans (strategic and tactical) are developed, communicated and implemented to maximize the opportunity. * Collaborate with marketing communications to develop marketing and sales collateral in various formats. Define and communicate, both internally and externally, the value proposition for the product family. * Identify and implement strategic partnership(s) to maximize the value of the product portfolio. * Develop product pricing and margin models to achieve financial expectations. * Provide clear understanding of product forecasting to meet market demand and manufacturing production planning, taking into consideration inventory investments. * Define, communicate and execute product roadmap releases to schedule and cost targets, including the end-of-life strategies. * Conduct regular analysis and assessment of competitive offerings (strategy, features and pricing). Develop and implement strategies taking this information into consideration. * Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sales and other functional areas to ensure all operational issues are effectively addressed. * Evaluate and recommend investments to maximize the financial results of the product line or portfolio. Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in business, engineering, computer science or related discipline. Master degree in business preferred. * 8 to 12 years of direct work experience in a Product Line Management or Marketing role, in the broadcast industry. * Prior product line or marketing management experience in the broadcast industry, with specific focus on audio and/or video segment. * Prior experience with market positioning, market development, market pricing and competitive analysis. Preffered Additional Skills:
* Successful track record of leading a product portfolio, with profit and loss responsibility, in a high tech global environment, for a sustained period of time.Demonstrated ability with all aspects of the product life cycle. * Strong global business acumen. * Demonstrated ability of leading in a highly fluid environment, customer oriented environment. * Ability to influence at multiple levels of an organization * Effective communication skills (oral and written). * Successful track record of establishing strategic direction. Sound operational decision making skills. * Entrepreneurship orientation. * Ability to develop strategic relationships and sell product roadmap. Strong customer orientation. * Effective leadership skills, including but not limited to:
[1] Change management capabilities, and [2] Demonstrated ability to build and develop organizational talent, [3] ability to operate in a matrix structure. * Learning orientation. * Ability to handle multiple complex projects and drive to the desired results.
