Partners are generally identified as National or Regional Resellers, Network or System Integrators, and/or Solution Providers. Relationships are established and maintained to promote the selling of Motorola products and services. A CAM has a defined list of "Managed Partners" and a geographic territory with annual assigned quotas. Major Job Duties:
1. Meet or exceed annual assigned revenue goals. 2. Provide accurate weekly forecast for assigned partners/territory. 3. Establish joint technology roadmaps, business plans, and marketing plans for Managed Partners. 4. Manage partner metrics - including:
MDF, sales out reporting, sales & technical certifications. 5. Facilitate Partner & Motorola relationship - be an internal and external advocate. 6. Educate Partner(s) on Motorola product and program offerings - technical and sales readiness. 7. Recruit and develop new partners for targeted geographic or market penetration coverage. 8. Meet or exceed annual Partner Satisfaction Ratings. Specific Knowledge/Skills Performance Requirements:
Functional Technical Skills - Demonstrates a sophisticated level of business and financial acumen. Solid understanding of internal management systems/tools. Possess the ability to convey Motorola Product Knowledge and participate in technical discussions at an appropriate level. Stays abreast of overall channel industry trends and knowledge. Skillful in negotiating with both internal and external groups and exhibits strong legal awareness. Advanced conflict management capabilities resulting in win-win take away for all involved parties.
