Uighur, Kazakh, Uzbek, Kyrgyz or Turkmen. Do you have Turkic language test scores showing a minimum of 3/3 or better in language proficiency in written translation in both target and english language. The Turkic Linguist will be required to conduct and prepare accurate written gists, translations, and/or transcriptions, of general and technical material, consisting of hand or type written, audio, and/or video language material and documents in hard copy and electronic formats, using correct syntac and expression from and to the specific foreign language and in English, in a manner that maintains the integrity and meaning of the material. The Turkic Linguist will also be required to write and speak in clear and concise grammar and pronunciation in the specific foreign language and in English at levels equivalent to the target material. Fluent in writing, reading and speaking any of the Turkic languages such as:
Uighur, Kazakh, Uzbek, Kyrgyz or Turkmen. Minimum of 3/3 or better in language proficiency in written translation in both target and english language. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Must be a U.S. citizen and have a TS/SCI clearance. Position is in Northern Virginia. This position will also require skills in word processing, data entry, knowledge of advanced language software programs and the ability to participate in forensic processing. Possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Degree and 3-5 years experience or Equivalent and 8-10 years experience.
