AUS-Western Australia Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management. TheHVAC Project Engineeris responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the delivery of HVAC projects. You will be responsible for coordinating the requirements of various key internal and external stakeholders ranging from Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Service, through to Customers and Customer site employees. Additionally, you will be required to assist in the design documentation at the concept stage of a project. Some Key Areas ofResponsibility:
- * Possess a comprehensive understanding of HVAC and associated control systems * Assessment of customer sites for installation requirements, installation design * Sales assistance, involving innovative use of latest technology in establishing system design and providing project estimates * Prepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met. Review submittals with sales and delivery teams and lead team to obtain submittal approval * Planning / scheduling of project execution * HVAC design, implementation and documentation * Assist for commissioning start-up and checkout of systems on-site as well as project management * Co-ordinate the commissioning team during the commissioning phase of the project, and participate personally in the on site commissioning * Provide technical support to Field Technicians * Adhere to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers. Experience/Skills/Knowledge * Previous experience working with HVAC/Control Systems * 3-5 years experience in control projects, with extensive on-site knowledge * Ability to plan and schedule large projects * Willing to develop extensive product knowledge in formal training, and in "on the job" environments, working with latest Honeywell technology * Able to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment * Commitment to customer satisfaction * A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment * Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives * Ability to identify technical solutions to customers' business needs.
