CHE-Baden-Baden Business Sales Manager,Small Steam Turbines (Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America) Reporting directly to the Director of Capture, you will be responsible for the development of market opportunities and order intake for the regions within your scope, while recognizing and responding to key customer, environmental, and competitor changes. More precisely:
* Develop regional commercial and financial targets based on relevant input from the regional markets and ensure that market approaches, product developments and other business configuration are adapted to fit the needs and market evolution. * Identify and capture opportunities in order to ensure that order intake objectives are reached in the respective regions by conducting business development and sales activities. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with other parts of the organization (Country president network, Global Power Sales, others) ensuring the organization a full market coverage and understanding. * Input into the tendering process by providing market and customer input to the appropriate team. Maintain and update all relevant management systems, databases and tools appropriate for the function. For this role, we are looking for someone with a proven track record acquired in similar roles in a multicultural/international organization. A strong knowledge and understanding of the industrial steam turbine or turbo-machinery market is important for this role as is strong experience of development of successful long-term relationships demonstrating a strong capability to understand, anticipate and serve highly demanding customers. Market knowledge in the appropriate region is required. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and in at least one South European language. The retained candidate will preferably hold a University Degree combined with an excellent business and financial acumen. This position is based in Baden, Switzerland and offers a local package.
