Minnesota-Saint Paul Internal Sales Representatives are inside sales staff responsible for successfully generating new lease and finance volume. Incumbent researches, qualifies and activates new sources of business. Must keep current on approval lease rates/programs/promotions for each vendor program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Working with customers (internal and external) to facilitate lease transactions from credit approval to funding. 2. Calling existing customers within assign territory or industry to promote lease financing. 3. Explaining lease services and programs to end users and vendors to discuss rates and terms with the result of additional volume. 4. Following up on outstanding approvals for closure with bank source and customers. 5. Working with credit and customers to approve and close existing business. 6. Preparing and delivering lease documentation for signature. 7. Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively works with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position. Ability to communicate effectively to customers and prospective customers. Must be able to define opportunities, gather data and respond quickly to requests. High level of knowledge with computers (Excel, Word, Etc.). Sales experience is desired, but not required. Generally requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Marketing, excellent oral and written communication skills.
