PURPOSE OF JOB Provides functional and/or technical guidance in evaluating application systems or evaluating requests for proposals and products. Coordinates changes and prioritize tasks with business or technical departments. Synthesizes analyses, identifies root causes, and develops and recommends key work products. Provides guidance in evaluating technical proposals and serve as the subject matter expert on development techniques to junior team members. Assembles key participants and guides and facilitates teams in the development and implementation of key initiatives. Provides insight to management on issues. Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues of an unusual nature. JOB DUTIES * Creates system requirements, performs design and analysis, coding and unit testing of complex system functionality and/or defect correction across multiple platforms. * Facilitates root cause analysis of system issues to minimize impact and future occurrences. * Gathers, analyze and influences user and system requirements. Identify and create solutions to improve system performance and availability. * Creates system documentation/play book and serves as a lead technical reviewer and contributor in requirements, design and code reviews. * Coordinate system application transition from development teams to maintenance and production team and/or construct and implement necessary controls to assure system / application traceability. * Develops accurate estimates on work packages and distributes work packages on behalf of the manager. Analyze and design specifications for junior team members to execute. Minimum Requirements * Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. * 6+ years relevant business support and/or general analysis experience. * Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools. * Advanced knowledge of industry data sources. Preferred * 3+ years of experience collaborating with areas of IT to ensure vendor partners are effectively managed and contracts are fully leveraged. * 3+ years of experience as the central point of contact for vendors. * 3+ years of experience with identifying and mitigating risks while working with vendors. * 3+ years of experience creating successful relationships with vendor contacts at all levels of the organization. * 3+ years of experience with vendor management process including agreement negotiations and vendor performance monitoring. * 3+ years of experience participating in vendor's strategic direction/initiatives and ensures company programs are in alignment. * 3+ years of experience collaborating with business partners to create clear program goals. * 3+ years of experience coordinating and tracking annual IT cost savings resulting from vendor management activities. * 3+ years of experience working collaboratively with the procurement organization in generating purchase orders and payments. * 3+ years of experience maintaining vendor calendars of agreement renewals. * 3+ years of experience supporting the budget cycle by providing vendor-related information. * 3+ years of experience reviewing and evaluating internal and external Service Level Agreements to identify areas of improvement. * 3+ years of experience assists in establishing SLA and metrics scorecard including quality measurements. * 3+ years of experience gathering service level metrics, analyzes the information and prepares vendor scorecard reports. * 3+ years of experience working in a highly visible and fast paced environment. * Working knowledge defining and managing processes. * Working knowledge of the lifecycle of enterprise applications and understands different development processes. * Working knowledge participating in the review of open issues within ticket system to identify trends and make recommendations for future enhancements of vendor releases. * Working knowledge communicating goals internally so staff is aware of expectations and consequences.
