This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in theHRISarea while providing support to end users in the HR and Benefits areas. The Sr. HRISAnalystwill act as a functional subject matter expert while working to resolve systems issues and developPeopleSoftqueries and reports. Will also participate in projects and will be responsible for gathering requirements, writing detailed functional specifications and creating and executing test scripts. The Sr. HRIS analyst will be responsible for configuring and supporting Peoplesoft HRMS Benefit Administration module for Open Enrollment and will provide year round support by troubleshooting PeopleSoft benefits and event maintenance issues. Will also be responsible for creating Affirmative Action and EEO reports. Requirements SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5 years functional experience in PeopleSoft HRIS with emphasis on the Benefits module. * A solid understanding of Peoplesoft HRMS Benefit Administration module with hands on experience with set-up, working with event maintenance and enrollment processing. * Hands on experience with PeopleSoft HR, Benefits, andPayrollset-up tables. * Must have strong PeopleSoft Query experience. Ability to learn and use complex query and report writing tools. Solid SQL experience required. * Strong skills/experience with MicroSoft Excel, with the ability to use various Excel functions effortlessly. * Experience using PS reporting tools such as Crystal and SQR reports. * Experience with PeopleSoft HR version 8 or higher. * Strong functional knowledge of the various HR functions --- HR, Benefits,Payroll. * Additional skills and abilities requirements include:
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex data issues to determine cause, excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; Able to meet deadlines under pressure; Understanding of human resources business processes. * MicroSoft Access experience is desirable. * PeopleTools experience is desirable. * EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
