The Onsite Technician will be responsible for inventory management services at a large pharmaceutical customer in West Greenwich, RI. The onsite technician responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
order processing (in both VWR and Customer system’s), customer checkout, stock rotation, replenishment, cycle counts, invoice review, invoice audit, pick-up, staging, delivery, run reports, (i.e. open order reports, inventory valuation and usage reports), correct warehouse related errors and credit/rebill/reorder as necessary, basic reporting and documentation of site activity, working closely with account manager, customer and other VWR associates to meet the customers needs. Being multi-task oriented and flexible. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The successful applicant should have:
--A professional "can-do / yes we can" attitude --Ability to work independently or as part of a team --Experience in general warehouse practices. --Knowledge of order entry, third party and related systems. --Strong Customer focus and customer service experience. --Attention to detail. --GMP safety knowledge. --Strong customer service skills. --Problem-solving ability. --Good organizational skills. --Proven communication skills. --Ability to lift 50-60 lbs., as needed. --Computer skills, including MS Office with emphasis on Word and Excel proficiency. --Knowledge of VWR products and services. --Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure. --Manufacturing background a plus. --Site services and logistics experience is a plus.
