Planner/Sustainability Coordinator

Job Details:

          Under the direction of the Senior Planner, this position coordinates the City?s sustainability initiatives by identifying and recommending methods and procedures to facilitate sustainability planning for the City; designs, plans, organizes, implements and promotes the City?s sustainable program and practices; researches and prepares reports related to planning issues; performs other duties as assigned including reviews site plans for conformity with zoning and building codes; reviewing and processing permits; and, providing technical expertise as needed.    Salary range:
$42,575 - $63,863, with starting salary range of $42,575 - $53,219.   Requirements include a bachelor's degree in planning or related field and three (3) years of experience; master's degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
