Cisco seeks an experienced manager with a talent for facilitating a broad variety of cross-functional groups to join its finance organization in the role of Mgr, Finance Business Operations. In this position, you will be responsible for influencing and guiding organizations across the enterprise in support of key corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge in Spend Management best practices and specialize in business function relationship management in a global enterprise environment. This role involves constant communication, meeting major deadlines and milestones, and building vital relationships. This is a great opportunity to hone your management skills in a challenging role with broad visibility and interaction across the Cisco enterprise. Manages, driving change management, adoption and consistent global awareness of Cisco's Strategic Spend Management program while supporting Operational business processes to achieve overall business and company objectives. Critical focus areas include; policy implementation, building of Ambassador Network program, Voice of the Customer and Business Function adoption of Spend Management best practices. BS degree with 5-10 years of related experience or 12 years relevant experience. Strong background in multiple business functions and a demonstrated record of partnering with senior management. Experience and knowledge in managing business partner relationships and driving change management. Includes 6+ years of organization and management experience. Applies knowledge of Cisco's business strategies to proactively anticipate business needs based on industry trends. Initiates and leads the Spend Management strategy for the business entity and co-develops strategies for implementation in accordance with Cisco's objectives. Provides strategic leadership within one's functional area. Participates with other senior managers to establish corporate strategic plans and objectives; makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures the operations' effective achievement of objectives. Handles controversial situations, customer/client negotiations or influences and persuades senior management. Responsible for strategic decisions that will affect the success of Cisco's overall business operations; is viewed as a technical expert company-wide; serves as a consultative business partner to client groups on broad or complex business issues, integrating technical expertise/experience, client's business objectives and marketplace factors. Typically takes the lead in developing complex company policies which not only affect immediate operations, but other functional areas, and potentially affect company-wide operations.
