Bachelor's degree in visual arts, advertising, film, television, communications or related field; 2+ years of demonstrated knowledge/experience of television promotion gained at broadcast network, cable network, TV station, radio station or advertising agency. In-depth understanding of video production and the role of on-air promotion 2+ years minimum of experience in production. (Music, Radio or TV), domestic or international. 2 years experience and strong understanding of Latin American TV markets; Love for and knowledge of cartoons and understanding of the animation process. (time codes, frames, cleaning, story boards, etc), typically acquired in 5 years experience; as well as to have an encyclopedic knowledge of cartoon characters and programs. Boldly creative visual and writing skills as demonstrated by portfolio and reels of previous work. Must act as a brand and character guardian in S&P initiatives. ? Highly creative ? Very strong communication skills ? Team player - must interact well with multiple departments and multi-cultural environment within Cartoon Network ? Strong leadership ? Self-motivated ? Boldly creative visual and writing skills as demonstrated by portfolio and reels of previous work. ? Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a strong plus (but not a must). Duties:
Write original concepts for clients, produce promotional spots, and provide creative support for the S&P department; Production of billboards, tagged promos, bugs and other special packaging for sales; Work with outside vendors and production houses to produce elements as directed by department; Participate in group meetings and activities and pitch in as needed for all S&P initiatives and needs.
