Posting Job Title TimeWarner Division AOL Industry Online Content/Services Brand Truveo Location United States - California - San Francisco Requisition # 114256BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Lead Front End Engineer Truveo is looking for a Front End Engineer who has been the lead on designing consumer facing websites, and is totally comfortable with all aspects of front end work. This means that you can create a design in Photoshop, translate that design into HTML, CSS and Javascript, and get it released into production. Please include the urls of some websites you have designed or worked on. Responsibilities:
Leading the UI design of www.truveo.com and all the Truveo international sites. Rapid prototyping and designing of new UI features Creating clean and maintainable HTML, CSS and Javascript Requirements:
A good design sense, able to use Photoshop to create mockups of features/designs and to create images. Extremely good at quickly creating clean, maintainable and cross browser HTML/CSS Past experience with PHP and PHP templating frameworks such as Smarty, CakePHP etc. Very proficient in Javascript - we're looking for somebody who is beyond cutting and pasting little scripts. You need to be able to write some serious code, and familiarity with a framework like JQuery, Scriptaculous or Prototype is desired. Very comfortable in Linux, able to work with the shell easily Past experience with SVN required, you should be able to merge changesets. Experience with Trac would be nice. Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with and incorporate feedback from many people on the team. Previous experience in Flash would be a bonus.
