Sales Performance · Formulate and execute marketing and sales plans for allocated customers assisting in the achievement of the Area Sales Budget.Actively pursue new account, and new channel opportunities, according to established criteria and under the direction of the National Business Manager 2. New Product Launch Execution Development and · implementation of marketing and sales strategies to effectively execute the launch of new products · Achieve effective promotion of new products via customer advertising vehiclesAchieve maximum possible exposure for new products within accounts 3. Account Management · Provide proactive and professional management of all accounts via:
Professional and effective communication, in all forms, at all times including advising § account of:
Ø New products; product and/or packaging changes; company developments; price changes; codes; product performance, deliveries etc. § Provide product training where necessary and appropriate § Professional representation of Irwin Tools at appropriate trade shows, functions and committees § Recognising and appreciating the requirements of an account including the markets they service and their management policies and business requirementsProfessional in-store execution of marketing materials including merchandisers, point-of-sale material, § counter display, price tickets etc. § Effectively managing discontinued and slow-moving inventory within accounts to achieve timely reduction § Clear and professional sales reporting focusing on strategies for business growth § Regular account reviews incorporating an analysis of purchase performance by product category § Identifying and correcting retail pricing anomalies · Develop and maintain sound relations with all accounts and across functions where possible · Educate and implement new and existing accounts of all company policies and proceduresEnsuring our full range is known to the account 4. Business Planning · Identify business opportunities and demands and effectively prioritise them putting in place strategies that address them accordingly · Effectively plan and manage the account calling cycle for all accounts within allocated territory 5. Administration · Management of area expenses within agreed levels · Assistance in the enforcement of established company credit policies and procedures with all territory accounts Effective implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures relating to product credits 6. Other · Collection and communication of market intelligence to assist the sales, marketing and management teams · Active, enthusiastic and professional participation in company and customer events including:
Account Manager Meetings, National Sales Conferences, Customer Conferences, Product Training Sessions etc · Professional appearance at all times Other support to the National Business Manager as required Ideal Candidate:
* The incumbent has sufficient authority to perform all the above duties without supervision. * Must be able to work autonomously, results driven and enthusiastic with easygoing yet motivated attitude * Be able to take a hands-on approach to new and existing clients and the total sales process. * Great get up and go, and an outstanding track record within a similar environment. * Has a down to earth approach with high service delivery and professional presentation skills * Must have excellent organizational abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills Prospects A competitive salary and package will be offered to attract the best candidates.
