We are currently seeking aManager, Leave Administration, located inMorristown, NJ, reporting to the Director, Benefits. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all employee leave programs, including, but not limited to:
Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Workers Compensation, FMLA, Military Leave, Leave of Absence Programs, and the PTO Program. Other key responsiblities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking, analyzing, and processing company, federal, state, and local leaves in accordance with company policy or state, federal or local laws. - Analyze and evaluate leave data, considering employee status, local time systems and policies, and type of leave, to determine required action to be processed inSAPensuring accuracy of employee records - Responsible for RFP process on Disability and Workers Compensation - AnalyzeSTD,LTD, and Workers Comp plan design for enhancements and or recommendations to plan design - Review data to measure and evaluate leave programs effectiveness - Work with site Human Resources, Benefits, and employee’s manager as needed on the employee’s leave status - Assist in Employee Meetings and Benefits Fairs as necessary - Manage current disability vendor relationship with Unum - Analyze and review data to effectively interpret FMLA implications as they relate to leaves of absence and to ensure compliance with company policies - Administer and track all FMLA and LOA time through time & attendance - Partner with benefits specialist to develop written policies and procedures, as needed, regarding all Leave related plans - Participate in various employee benefit surveys - Assist in the communication with Human Resources on leave related issues - Assist in the development of Benefit related material for the Watson Portal - Identify, suggest, and implement ongoing process improvements, efficiencies, and communication. - Stay abreast of all compliance changes related to leave management programs on a federal, state, and local level Qualifications Qualified candidates will... - Have strong communication skills - Have superior customer service skills - Be detailed oriented - Exhibit a professional attitude with a keen sense of urgency in completing tasks - Maintain cooperative working relationships with others - Have experience in a fast paced environment - Have excellent office organizational skills - Have the ability to take direction from several people; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Implement goals, objectives, and practices with cost efficiency - Have the ability to maintain complete confidentiality of employee records - Have proficiency (advanced capability) in Microsoft Office Suite of products:
- Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Microsoft Outlook for Email, Calendar, Contacts, Scheduling and Task management Education Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and five (5) to seven (7) years experience in a Benefits related function, preferably pharmaceutical environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
