FARM ENERGY PROGRAM COORDINATOR (PROGRAM COORDINATOR II)

This professional will coordinate and facilitate a new generation:
farm energy conservation and efficiency initiative. A major component of this work is to collaborate with ISU Extension faculty and staff, cooperating agency personnel, and the agricultural energy sector to identify gaps in the educational resources currently available and to obtain research-based content for new materials development. Specific duties include using research-based content to prepare drafts of new farm energy conservation and efficiency educational materials; working with content experts and Extension Communications to finalize educational materials production; increasing awareness of newly produced educational materials with targeted client groups; building capacity within the ranks of Extension educators and energy sector service personnel in the application of these educational materials through train-the-trainer activities; and assisting in the valuation of behavior change and farm business outcomes related to energy conservation and efficiency. Bachelor's degree in field such as agriculture, education, business, or communications and 3 years of related experience or a related Master's degree and 1 year of related experience.
