Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a High School graduate or GED a minimum of 18 months related experience. Special Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license, issued by the State of Tennessee Must have basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electric, heating and air conditioning Key Functions and Expected Performances:
* Change light bulbs, ballasts, fixtures, switches/plates, HVAC filters, and thermostats * Hang pictures and tighten screws on hardware * Lubricate hinges and closures * Retouch/touch-up paint, as needed * Simple plumbing repairs * Perform preventative maintenance on equipment * Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements:
Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach or stand for extended periods of time, on a regular basis. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Additional Information:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Shift hours are typically 7:
45 a.m. to 4:
30 p.m.; Monday thru Friday. May be assigned to other shifts as conditions require. May work weekends, overtime and on University holidays as required. Salary ranges from $10.50 (MIN) - $15.96 (MID) - $18.72 (MAX) monthly; dependent upon years of education and experience. Background screens will be performed and education will be verified prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information and/or documentation.
