HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE Minimum Requirements:
This position requires High school graduate or GED and a minimum of 12 months of relevant experience. Preferred Skills and Experiences:
* Ability to use basic computer software (PeopleSoft experience is very helpful) as well as related office equipment (adding machine, scanner, etc.). * Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel * Capable of functioning effectively in a team-based workplace. * Ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations. Key Functions and Expected Performances:
* Assist Processing Specialists with all components of the HR processing:
Examples include, but are not limited to:
batching time sheets, data entry of payroll information (includes entry of time sheets, additional pay forms, and exempt leave reports). * Tasks also include data entry and auditing of benefit enrollment forms and retirement salary reduction agreements, benefit overrides, checking batch edit reports, auditing payroll registers, balancing and batching exempt leave reports. * Other duties as assigned. Additional Information:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Shift Hours are 8:
00am until 5:
00pm; Monday thru Friday. Ability to work additional hours as needed during peak processing times and as needed to meet required deadlines. Salary ranges from $10.10(min) - $13.46(mid) - $16.81(max) per hour; dependent upon years of education and experience. Background screens will be performed and education will be verified prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information and/or documentation. Vanderbilt is a smoke-free workplace in compliance with the Non-Smoker Protection Act, Tennessee Code Annotated 39-17-1801-1810.
