Under the direction of the lab manager/director performs skills and simulation lab set up maintains supplies and equipment staffs practice labs provides assistance to faculty and students during skills and simulation sessions. Key Functions:
* Assist with set up and break down of rooms for lab sessions. * Maintain laboratory environment appropriate to student learning, to include the following:
maintain lab equipment, straighten beds and linens, and restock and put away supplies. * Maintain inventory of disposable and non-disposable supplies and equipment and communicate reordering needs. * Operate and program patient simulators, AV equipment and computer software for simulation sessions. Assist with audio/video taping and copying of simulation scenarios. * Perform routine maintenance checks of simulators and supplies. * Assist students and faculty in use of simulation equipment. * Open labs for student access during assigned hours. * Familiarizes self with assignments to assist students during labs. * Communicate lab needs, requests and feedback to Lab Manager/Director. * Maintain room schedules and calendars. * Assist in scheduling and proper use of equipment. * Collect data relevant to program evaluation. * Use current literature and best practices for skill and simulation sessions. * Participate in research to support program and curriculum efforts. * Track borrowed or loaned supplies. * Perform other similar or related duties as necessary. Basic Qualifications:
This position requires graduation from an accredited program of professional nursing (BSN) and 18 months of related experience. Candidates with knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and recent acute care professional nursing experience preferred. Teaching experience desired. License Required:

Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Shift:
This is a part-time position; 20 hours per week; candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, and weekends to accommodate student needs. Background screens will be performed and education will be verified prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information and/or documentation.
