In collaboration with the PI and other members of the research team, the 'qualitative' research analyst will review data that have already been collected on performance of the PILL-CVD intervention; conduct focus groups at both study sites with patients, family members, pharmacists, nurses, and physicians; and interview investigators and study personnel from other major care transitions interventions. The qualitative report(s) that the analyst produces will describe the most beneficial and cost-effective features of the multifaceted PILL-CVD intervention, as well as compare it to other inventions that have also sought to improve patient safety after hospital discharge. The results of these analyses will be used to prepare a scientific poster and manuscripts that will guide future research efforts as well as implementation of care transitions interventions. Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 24 months of related experience. Candidates with Master's level training with an MPH in Behavioral Sciences are strongly preferred. Experience in the design and conduct of focus groups, patient interviews, and report writing is needed. Additional Information:
This is a full-time position; 40 hours per week. Salary ranges from $11.47(min) - $15.92(mid) - $20.37(max) per hour; dependent upon years of education and experience. Experience may be substituted for education basic qualification requirement on a two for one basis (2 years of experience for each year of education required, but not attained). Background screens will be performed and education will be verified prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information and/or documentation.
