Independently, performs a wide variety of complex and independent activities to plan, organize, and conduct social, economic, or health related research. Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 24 months related experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, manage time well, have a strong work ethic and have strong communication/presentation skills. Key Functions and Expected Performances:
* Collect, organize, and evaluate data from a variety of reference sources * Assist in modification and coordination of research procedures and techniques * Assist in the preparation of materials for publication * Make presentation of study concepts in group session * Keep abreast of trends in field of study * Supervise Research Analyst I, technical support staff and student assistants * Coordinate maintenance of lab. Preferred Qualifications:
* A year of graduate coursework in biomedical sciences, engineering or neuroscience, including an understanding of relevant neuroscience and medical imaging theory and technique. * At least 2 years of previous experience working one-one-one with individuals affected by intellectual and neurodevelopment challenges, including autism and Williams Syndrome. * Technical and troubleshooting skills, including at least 2 years experience in the acquisition, preprocessing and statistical analysis of human fMRI data. * A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Brain Voyager, Talairach Daemon, and E-Prime, including the ability to program in E-Prime 1.0 and 2.0. Strong programming skills, including Prior experience in Matlab. * Certifications in the following areas:
Human Subjects Research training, HIPAA training, Responsible Conduct of Research training course, and the Collaborative IRB Training Initiative. Additional Information:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week); Shift hours vary. Salary ranges from $11.47 (MIN) - $15.92 (MID) - $20.37 (MAX) hourly; dependent upon years of education and experience. Experience may be substituted for education:

1 basis (2 years of experience for each year of education required, but not attained).
