Position Description The successful candidate will utilize their strong communication (both verbal & written) and analytical skills to assist the SunGard Higher Education ActionLine team in supporting the fsaATLAS product and related solutions. This individual will be responsible for working closely with clients by providing support primarily for their fsaATLAS functional and technical issues, as well as issues related to implementation of the Open Digital Campus. The analyst must demonstrate a commitment to working through complex problems and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and focus on satisfying the customer. SunGard Higher Education fsaATLAS is the leading visa case management suite and SEVIS reporting application for use in International Student/Scholar Offices Market in the Higher Education Industry. The application was developed with extensive input from over 150 colleges and universities, and enables an institution to store all of its international student/scholar/employee information in a single database on one server which allows data tracking above and beyond the SEVIS reportable information, reducing points of accountability for mission-critical data. Core Functions:
.Support SunGard Higher Education clients in troubleshooting and resolving issues. .Document issues within SunGard Higher Education's tracking system and follow issue progress through resolution. .Develop effective working relationships with other SGHE staff. .Work closely with other SunGard Higher Education ActionLine team members to deliver outstanding support for clients implementing their Open Digital Campus .Work both independently as needed and as an active, contributing member of a team. Position Requirements Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
.Willing to work west coast hours (8:
00am-5:
00pm Pacific time), with flexibility as needed to accommodate business needs. .Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server. .Strong understanding and experience with web server software, particularly Microsoft IIS. .Good problem solving skills and multitasking ability. .Strong experience working directly and collaboratively with customers. .Proven communications skills. .Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast paced environment. .Minimum 2 years experience working in the Higher Education market. .Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
.Microsoft .Net, ASP and SQL knowledge a plus. .Knowledge of the functional workings of the SunGard Higher Education Banner product areas. .Experience with html and xml. .Experienced user of CRM tools (Siebel).
