Minimum Requirements Valid elementary Arizona teaching certificate and three-years Teaching experience required. Master's degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Educational Administration, subject matter, or related field is preferred. Also required is Structured English Immersion (SEI). Must be able to train Teachers to use Systems Thinking and can apply current research in best practices to work with diverse student populations. Must also have Facilitator or Staff Development experience. Knows and can implement the National Staff Development Standards. Any equivalent combination of experience and education will be accepted. Demonstrated skill in lesson design and delivery including, but not limited to Skillful Teaching and Understanding by Desgin. Training and experience in cognitive coaching and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with teachers. Training in Systems Thinking Level 1 and 2 or its equivalent with the ability to model lessons and collaborate with teachers on lessons in a nationally known Systems Thinking site. Experience with public relations and public speaking. Administrative experience preferred. Responsibilities include coaching teachers, modeling lessons, communicating the schools focus, building consensus, supporting action research and educating the public about the purposes and benefits of systems thinking.
