SAN JOSE, CA, SAN DIEGO, CA I am looking for an applications engineer or each of these three cities- San Jose, San Diego, and Boston MAApplications Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Applications Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our systems. The Applications Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical customers. This position must be able to identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Position reports to Regional Director of Sales or equivalent.Responsibilities? Assist in the development and delivery of sales presentations ? Responsible for assisting Energy Consultants with technical analysis of potential installation sites. ? Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs ? Analyze and suggest areas for value engineering to provide most ideal solutions ? Coordinate and/or produce pre-sales drawings to support the sales process ? Convey customer requirements to Project Management team ? Work with Resources Group to ensure that product standards are incorporated throughout the system design and end to end processes. ? Review, edit and approve pricing tools for energy consultant ? Complete production analysis for creation of proposals
