Apply Online Job Description The Washington Federal Practice (WFP) of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP currently has an opening for a qualified data management Senior Associate to join its successful Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Account Team. The VA Account Team is a client-facing consulting team, which provides advisory services to the federal government market. It is one of the largest account teams in WFP and is a major contributor to the rapid growth and success of WFP. The VA Account Team creates and delivers solutions across a vast range of competencies. Within the VA Account team, the Data Management competency delivers solutions in the areas of data analysis, data quality, database design and development, visual reporting, and strategic data management program development. These capabilities enable and improve decision making processes, organizational efficiencies, standardization and exchange of information, management reporting, and other information-supported activities within VA. Data Management competency capabilities include:
* Analysis of critical data supporting business processes and assessments to determine the reliability of the information as well as any data gaps. * Development and execution of dynamic reporting used to monitor performance metrics. * Creation of stand-alone databases and bolt-on analytical environments, providing internal and external tools to monitor and assess key processes. * Working directly with clients to understand business requirements and develop data analysis solutions.The Senior Associate will work in a team environment and be responsible for data analysis on various platforms, performing coding, documentation and testing, and assisting in the execution of projects from pre-sales and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off. They must understand major business cycles to be able to design appropriate data analysis tests, and follow through in articulating results to management and the client.The nature and variety of work performed on the team varies widely and frequently. The successful candidate must be flexible, able to fit into many different teams in different roles, solution driven, analytical and ready to provide new and unique solutions for client problems. Information Systems, Computer Science or Business preferred, coupled with experience or interest in taking on more technical subject matter. Job Requirements 3-5+ years data management experience to include the following (list is not inclusive):
