As a Senior Associate in the Washington Federal Practice you will provide advisory services to Federal agencies and departments which will make a difference in their ability to fulfill their important missions. PwC's Washington Federal Practice offers immediate unlimited opportunities to fast track client service professionals. As an Associate or Senior Associate in the Washington Federal Practice, you will provide advisory services focused on implementing strong Project Management principles, Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices, as well as implementing process improvement solutions that strengthen accountability, promote effective risk management, and deliver quality service to Federal agencies. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of a high performing Project Management Office (PMO) including:
Job Requirements:
* Manually update project schedule, attend a weekly meeting with Project Managers/Team Lead, provide weekly status updates to client. * Develop and maintain program management items such as Program Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, Program Schedules, Baseline Plans, Control Account Plans, and Analysis Reports. * Participation in meetings to provide status updates as it relates to project cost and schedule variances will also be required. * Create and maintain all program schedules * Maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) * Duties include project baseline change control, collection and performing critical path analysis * Participates in metrics analysis and reporting * Support variance analysis, cost and schedule forecasting, and problem identification and resolution * Experience with Federal Government EVM implementation (a plus) Security Requirements:
In addition to meeting PwC eligibility requirements, applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Line of Service Advisory Industry Public Services Office McLean VA Years Experience Required 3+ Education Required Bachelors Degree required. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantitative Analysis, Business Administration or related major Job Requirements * At least 3+ years of Project Management and Consulting experience * Minimum 1-2 years of planning and integrated scheduling (IMS) experience * Ability to develop work breakdown structures (WBS) * Understanding of full software development and testing lifecycle preferred (a plus) * Strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to coordinate multiple projects and shift priorities frequently * Experience in a PMO for large projects * Advanced skills using MS Project * Excellent analytical skills * Experience with Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft Project, Access, and Excel * Ability to work within a flexible team environment * Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset * Outstanding communication and presentation skills * US Citizenship Required * Secret Clearance or greater Preferred:
