Apply Online Job Description PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Wealth Management Tax Services practice. This position involves the coordination, preparation, and technical review of fiduciary income tax returns with a focus on the compliance-related aspects of the client service relationship. Staff will provide deliverables and services in accordance with the schedule of the Service Level Agreement for preparation of all types of required federal and state tax returns and forms for each type of client accounts (ex. 1041, 5227, 1099, 990/PF, 3520, 5498, 1099R). Staff will prepare estimated taxes for trust accounts and be responsible for year-round account maintenance. Will have responsibility for year-round account maintenance and will have direct client contact. Responsibilities of this position include the delivery of federal, state and international tax business compliance services as well as large scale outsourcing solutions, specifically:
* Responsible for assisting management with large tax compliance project management. * Reviewing a returns prepared by a team of associates. * Assisting clients with responses to income tax examinations of our clients by federal, state and local taxing authorities. * Leading as a professional role model to new and experienced associates. Line of Service Tax Industry Office New York NY Years Experience Required 3-5 Education Required Bachelor in Accounting required. Masters in Taxation preferred. CPA or must be eligible to sit for CPA exam or working towards Enrolled Agent certification. Job Requirements 3 -5 years of prior tax experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational abilities, the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, and the capability to handle multiple tasks, strong research and computer skills/ Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong commitment, integrity and client service orientation. Must possess creative problem solving skills, and the ability to cultivate client loyalty, develop outside business relationships, and anticipate client opportunities, needs and issues. Have the ability to identify, research, and document tax issues and offer solutions. Possess the willingness to accept new challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong organization, writing and verbal skills.
