Requisition ID 3535 Full/Part Time Full Time Location Owings Mills, MD Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Client Services Specialist's primary role is to support the Relationship Managers with a full range of client servicing and administrative activities including assistance with managing data collection, reporting and client presentations. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Client responsibility:
Take primary responsibility for internal support of clients assigned to the team. Develop and maintain client database for clients assigned to the team. Prepare Plan and Investment Review kits for clients. Organize and maintain client files. Provide excellent client service by anticipating needs and demonstrating ownership of client satisfaction. Reporting:
Manage client and consultant reporting processes including monthly performance reports, fund updates. Run data reports on clients and create presentations using CARS, Business Objects, PowerPoint, and other applicable applications. Relationship Manager support:
Provide back-up and support for Relationship Managers when they are away from their office. Act as Relationship Manager's liaison with internal and external contacts. Arrange schedules, coordinate agendas, materials, and catering needs for any internal meetings. Provide administrative support for Relationship Managers, including maintaining calendars, organizing mail, ordering office supplies, setting up new team members, coordinating travel arrangements, and completing and recording travel expenses for submission to Finance. Assists Relationship Managers with project management. Client Service team support:
Serve as back-up for other members of the CS team, including phone coverage for the Client Service dedicated line. QUALIFICATIONS . Ability to critically think, strategically problem solve and take initiative. . Above average PC skills and aptitude for software, including Business Objects and PowerPoint. . Excellent communications and organizational skills; set priorities and anticipate needs; able to coordinate several projects simultaneously. . Team player - willing to assist other team members as needed. . Self-starting - able to work independently and use good judgment in decision-making. . Strong math abilities; analytical skills; general attention to detail. * Previous Financial Services industry experience preferred. *High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related work experience, or college degree T.
