Scottrade, Inc. has aBusiness Analystposition available inSt. Louis, MO. This person will support all business areas through research, analysis, testing and documentation for projects of medium size and complexity. Responsibilities:
* Facilitate requirement elicitation and validation workshops with the business, IT, PMO and third party vendors as applicable. * Elicit business, functional and non-functional requirements using, interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use case, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. * Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract from low level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests for the underlying true needs. * Document current and future processes, and other surrounding context required to build technical solutions and perform discovery analysis including elicitation of business requirements from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). * Draft required SDLC documents for approval and creating process flow diagrams, tables and screen mock ups. * Assemble meeting agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, serve as a leader of the project team. * Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before project deployment to secure stakeholder approval of requirements. * Collaborate with IT developers and SMEs to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. * Troubleshoot and resolve project related technical issues, inform the business of product behavior, scope and direction. * Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify/mitigate risk. Contribute to the team goals and objectives by sharing expertise and information. Experience:
* 3+ years experience using Visio technical writing tool. * 2+ years experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. * 1+ years experience in system analysis, project discovery and investigation. * 1+ years experience analyzing business processes and creating flow models and diagrams in support of software development and process improvement efforts. * 1+ years experience in a Business Analyst role. * Experience using requirement management tools a plus. Education:
* Associates degree in related field (MIS, Business, Finance) or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. * CBAP certification preferred.
