Description The Chief Information Officer (Group CIO / Group Head of Information Technology) is responsible for providing high-quality, efficient Group-wide IT services and tools in line with the needs of the Business Divisions and the Corporate Center. The Chief of Staff works alongside the Group CIO and Group Technology COO to support the articulation, roll-out and implementation of the Group Technology strategy, as well as supporting the overall smooth running of the Group CIO Management Office. These responsibilities split down into a few key areas:
* Own the overall smooth running of the Group CIO Management Office, inclusive of ensuring 3 way partnership across GT, HR and Finance to push forward key deliverables; * Secretariat to the Group Technology Executive Committee; * Writing strategy and management presentations for the Global Head, to assist in representing Group Technology to C-level management, Board Meetings and critical front-office committees; * Ownership for Group Technology Communications Function * Project-manage tactical streams of work for the Group Technology Executive Committee; * Ensuring Group Technology is represented and engaged in the wider Corporate Center functional transformation Key Skill Requirements - Additional Competencies:
* Has the strategic understanding and global impact to deliver against the team's objectives whilst breaking them down into manageable components * Solid understanding of the senior UBS organization and context to priorities outside of Group Technology * Flexible and adaptable approach, focused on finding a solution to every problem * Manage wide set of objectives with conflicting priorities that require one to organise the effective use of resources across functions, businesses and time zones * Builds rapport with a extremely diverse set of team members and builds trust relationships quickly * Honest, reliable and a strong relationship builder * Ability to impact/influence decisions & individuals without formal authority * Ability to understand, interpret and draw conclusions from management and financial data * Widespread cross-functional interaction with very senior leadership in UBS requires maturity and a strong emphasis on concise and accurate communication, both written and verbal * Ensures high quality information and output is delivered at all times * Consistently demonstrates UBS core values of Client Focus, Teamwork, Professional Behaviour, & Integrity Requirements * Four year bachelors degree or the international equivalent. * Minimum 8 years writing strategy and management presentations. * Minimum 5 years project management experience.
