Description The UBS Investment Bank based in Stamford, CT is seeking qualified candidates for a High Yield/Leveraged Loan Desk Analyst - Associate level opportunity. The role will be a desk analyst working closely with the High-Yield Sales & Trading teams. The responsibilities will include researching & reviewing corporate debt, preparing high-quality analysis and presenting findings. Previous experience working in a research analyst capacity and knowledge of Fixed Income Credit, leveraged loans, distressed debt, etc. will be key to the success of the selected candidate. This role will:
* Team with a senior analyst in covering 2-3 industry sectors * Extensive financial analysis:
modeling financial statements, valuation work, liquidity assessments, covenant reviews * Make trade recommendations to the trading desk, sales and external accounts on bonds, loans, cds and equity. * Work on underwriting assignments:
involvement in due diligence on deals, marketing new offerings to clients Requirements * Education:
