This position supports the Sales and Marketing units through the design, coordination, production and distribution of marketing materials, advertising and promotional items. These materials include direct marketing kits, advertising pieces, sales collateral and event materials. The position works with external contract vendors on an as-needed basis. This position includes the management of the in-house Graphic Artist, but not as a direct report. May estimate costs and manage program/project budgets. Primary Responsibilities:
* Work with the Marketing Team to execute marketing communications strategy and coordinate the design, production and distribution of marketing material, including advertising, and direct mail * On a project-by-project basis, is responsible for coordinating copywriting, conceptual execution and production/distribution of marketing materials, advertising programs, trade shows and other initiatives for the company * Management of insertion orders for ad placement and processing of vendor invoices using organizational systems provided for same * Assist in coordinating company's attendance at various trade shows throughout the year * Budget and Production Calendar Management responsibilities include centralized oversight of the Marketing budget and production calendar to stay within pre-approved cost parameters and eliminate any conflicts that may prevent timely completion and delivery of items * Publication of client-specific materials to the organization's SharePoint site for reference by internal resources * Report on marketing project costs as required by internal stakeholders Regardless of your role at UnitedHealthcare, the support you feel all around you will enable you to do what you do with energy, integrity, and confidence. * A minimum of 5 years experience in production coordination, including supervision of external contractors is required * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Working knowledge of print production processes is required * Working knowledge of QuarkXPress and related graphics applications is required * Familiarity with Mac a plus * Must possess creative and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, company accounts and outside professionals * Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently to plan and implement multiple projects concurrently * Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere:
