This position works with customers to access child support programs and receive program services. Responsibilities include:
. Managing child support cases and applying knowledge of policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations to progress cases through the administrative and legal system; . Establishing paternity; . Establishing and enforcing child support orders; . Locating non-custodial parents; . Researching and reviewing records to gather information vital to cases; . Educating customers on the process and their options, and responding to customer inquiries; . Verifying existing data on an automated child support system The ideal candidate will typically possess the following:
. High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience enrollment, eligibility, collections or case management. . Experience with MS Office products and in the use of a personal computer. . Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all segments of the population. . Bilingual Spanish a plus.
