Position generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, SG&A, vendor performance, product line profitability, customer profitability and other areas of business. Additional responsibilities include:
· Assist with strategic modeling and financial analysis related to long term projections and strategic initiatives · Preparation of operational reporting and analysis · Prepares performance metrics and compares to internal and external benchmarking · Preparation and presentation of business case/cost justification to support key initiatives · Resolution of business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines. · Analysis of business unit Vendor contracts and associated terms · Conducts ROI analyses for various business unit initiatives · Support corporate financial planning and analysis activities · Other assigned duties as required. Requirements:
The skills, experience and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
* Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field * 5 year of experience in business/finance analysis. * Proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). * Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required. * Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required. * Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures * Ability to interact with top executives in a professional manner * Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid would be an advantage Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere:
