The director is responsible to plan and direct the administrative and operational functions of the Rush-Riverside Heart Center to include all activities relating to quality patient care, decision-making, problem solving and all leadership functions. Specifically, the director will manage the total operations of the center and be responsible for short and long-term planning; establishing standards of quality, productivity, and performance; maximizing patient revenues, attracting new patients and meeting regulatory requirements; and monitoring accomplishments of goals and financial performance. The director will facilitate strategic planning, marketing and new program development efforts with appropriate stakeholders, in collaboration with the Vice President. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday with an occassional presence in the evening and weekends as required. Experience/Education Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as manager or director in a cardiovascular area. MBA/MHA or comparable master's degree or be actively enrolled in a master's program. License or Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois RN and/or Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety and ARRT license required.
