 FACILITY INFORMATION POSITION REQUIREMENTS EV Float Pool Travel ProgramThis program establishes guidelines for providing an opportunity for out-of-state applicants who are interested in a short-term work assignment with Chandler Regional Hospital and/or Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.Applicants will be required to sign a 12- week contract and commit to working full *. Applicants will be required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule and 1 major holiday as defined in HR policy 5.009. The assignment will not exceed 2 12-week contracts or 24 weeks. Upon completion of the assignment, the employee will be required to convert to a core position (if available) or vacate the position. The program will be available from November through April based on the staffing needs of Chandler Regional Hospital and/or Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.Participants of the Travel Program will receive the following compensation:
• $40.00 per hour plus any applicable differentials (weekend and holiday)• $800.00 per month housing allowance for FT commitment.• $400.00 health insurance allowance for FT commitment• They will be considered temporary employees and will not be able to participate in the hospital's benefit program. • Round trip travel expenses for travel to the assignment up to $500.All participants must meet the minimum requirements of the position they are filling, including an Arizona RN license or a compact RN license. It is required that the participants have at least two years of experience in 2 areas of specialty (i.e., Pediatrics and Adult MS, MS/Telemetry or ED/ Clinical area)*Full-time is defined as 32+ hours per week. ~HJ~ CB
