Payroll Finance Manager

Job DescriptionThe Finance Manager of Payroll & Accounts Payable, manages, administers and performs operations of the Payroll function to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees of earnings and other disbursements related to employment. The incumbent files or transmits timely reports and payments to governmental agencies, and insurance carriers. The position also manages the accounts payable function to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors for services and products purchased. Performs other related duties associated with the overall management of the Hospital's payroll and accounts payable functions. Required Education Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Accounting preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in payroll administration or business administration required, preferably in a healthcare environment. Management experience and knowledge of computerized payroll and time, attendance and accounts payable or general accounting applications necessary. Ability to analyze, prepare and file Federal and State tax documents and other related financial reports. Experience with detailed technical support and setup of payroll applications. Good analytical, technical and organizational skills required as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
