    Phoenix House Change for Life   Phoenix House, the nation?s leading non-profit substance abuse services provider, offers substance abuse services to the Dallas, Austin and the Houston/Galveston Bay communities that offer a continuum of care including prevention education, residential and outpatient treatment, aftercare and family support services.    Phoenix House currently seeks licensed Counselors to provide treatment services and supervise interns.    Primary duties include:
Performs primary counselor duties to inmates to include but are not limited to psychosocial assessments; development of treatment plans; crisis intervention; group, individual, family and didactic sessions; oversee skill building exercise; assist with the development of sober living skills; discharge summary and planning; coordination of treatment services with probation and other referral sources.  Multi-lingual counselors may be asked to conduct services in multiple languages to meet the needs of the clients and families. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of client charts, reports, and other documentation related to the treatment and progress of inmates in the program.  These reports include but are not limited to individual and weekly progress notes, documentation of attendance and participation in-group, didactics and family sessions.  Structures and supervises community meetings, seminars, house meetings and discussion groups.Facilitates policies, practices and programs established by the Program Director for clients that promote strong, healthy connections to peers, staff, and families.
