Providence Health & Services-Alaska is seeking a talented Web/Sharepoint Administrator for our Communications and Marketing department. In collaboration with the Manager, Web Communications, Communications and Marketing team and internal customers, the administrator is responsible to design, develop, deploy and administer all web-based environments. The administrator will have primary responsibility for supporting the SharePoint environment. Duties include ensuring visual quality and consistency, content accuracy of websites, as well as, maintain websites with current and relevant content to meet internal and external requirements. Will provide timely deliverables, as well as guide organizational stakeholders and colleagues on Web content management and industry best practices. The essential requirements for this position include the following:
Education:
Bachelor degree in Communications, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related specialty, or equivalent experience. Experience:
Candidates with a bachelor?s degree must have three years experience as a Web Developer, SharePoint Administrator, Systems Analyst, Desktop Engineer, or job performance which involved direct like responsibilities to end-uses. Candidates without a bachelor?s degree must have five years experience as a Web Developer, SharePoint Administrator, Systems Analyst, Desktop Engineer, or job performance which involved direct like responsibilities to end-uses. Other Qualifications:
Expertise with SharePoint 2003, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, EPRISE, HTML, IIS, Active server pages, MS SQL, and image/video editing software. Knowledge of InfoPath, SharePoint designer, Urchin, Flash, SilverLight, Java Script, Adobe Photoshop, In Design, and MediaSite editing software are a plus. Knowledge of analysis skills, testing and training. Must be able to work multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision. Ability to troubleshoot technical problems not previously encountered.
