Job Title Building Code VI-Aurora Adult Day Center Address 336 West Walnut St City Milwaukee # Hours Per Pay Period (Bi-weekly) 40 Schedule 9-1 Req # (optional) 62986BR Explore a Career In Adult Day Services Job Description Provides assistance with planning, developing organizing, carrying out and evaluating program activities and provides personal care and bathing services as needed to ensure the safety and dignity of the Adult Day Center participants. These responsibilities are carried out in accordance with established agency policies and procedures and a safety regulation at all times. General Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent preferred. . Certified Nursing Assistant License · Minimum one year of experience working with older or disabled adults or persons with dementia. · CPR certification (or the willingness to be trained in this area upon hire). · Must be able to maintain good work relationships and provide a calm atmosphere of respect and dignity for participants. · Must be able to seek out new methods and ideas to incorporate them into existing program and able to relate them to work with older or disabled adults. Desired Qualifications · The Program Assistant must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
