Job Description & Experience:
LPN -2 weeks vacation The LPN at MIC Women's Health services is responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and providing supportive and restorative care under the direction of a professional nurse,licensed physician or certified nurse midwife. Critical duties include:
1. Informs center staff of the medical regimen to assure it's being carried out. 2. Counsels and instructs routine prenatal and family planning patients individually and in groups. 3. Records in the patient's record and reports to appropriate professional personnel any information pertinent to the care of the patient. 4. Reviews patients' records prior to and following the medical examination in order that the medical and nursing regimen be implemented. 5. Performs duties as delegated by the Center Director. NOTES:
