Providence is calling a Materials Management Coordinator & Buyer. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory control and supply systems. Performs the daily requisition and delivery of supplies to the various departments throughout the facility/agency. Accepts incoming freight and signs trucking receipts. Performs all receiving duties which may include:
Checking merchandise against vendor packing slips, checking packing slips against purchase orders in information system and Processing packing slips, receiving documents and delivery documents in accordance with department procedures. Will perform research, liaison and communications tasks with vendors and other suppliers. Investigates source of supplies to obtain the best produce at the est cost. Performs and/or coordinates the placing of supply and equipment orders to vendors via FAX, phone and computer. Assures strict adherence to the terms and conditions of group purchasing commitments. Advises Administration/Managers on purchasing planning, capital equipment requests, budgeting, substitutions, priding and related matters. Performa purchasing record keeping, data processing, office and ordering functions We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence. Position Specifics. This position is located at Providence Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, WA. This is an On-call position working a variable schedule. REQUIREMENTS Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required Licenses/Certifications:
None required Experience:
