Providence is calling Health Unit Coordinators. Health Unit Coordinators coordinate unit activities with ancillary departments and perform clerical/reception support for the units; perform admission of patients, processing of patient orders, chart maintenance, and provide general support to patients and families, under supervision of the Unit Leaders or designated licensed staff. We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence. Position Specifics This position is located at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. This is an on call, 12-hour day shifts position in the Family Birth Center. REQUIREMENTS Education:
High school education or the equivalent (GED or four years of work experience will substitute for the high school diploma). Experience:
One year of clerical experience in a medical field, such as medical assistant, unit secretary, admitting clerk, or medical office receptionist. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required. Keyboarding proficiency is required. Answer the call to fulfill the Mission.
