Providence is calling Cath Lab Registered Nurses! Under the supervision of the charge nurse, the Registered Nurse(RN) collaborates with members of the health care team to coordinate the patient?s multidisciplinary treatment plan. Assesses functional capacity according to the patient?s age and disease process. Determines the individual?s risk factor profile. Develops and implements the cardiac rehabilitation plan for all assigned patients. Fosters continuity of care throughout the continuum of the disease process. Continuously evaluates and monitors the effectiveness and outcomes of cardiopulmonary therapy intervention. Provides education to patient and family members on risk factor management to accomplish patient goals. Participates in performance improvement and research activities. Actively assesses, evaluates and maintains professional development and competency related to the competencies outline related to the competencies outlined in the position description. We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence. Position Specifics This position is located at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. This position is part time, 0.8 FTE, 32 hrs/wk, day shift in our Cath Lab. REQUIREMENTS Education:
A Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred. Licenses/Certifications:
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification is required. Experience:
Nursing experience in a hospital critical care setting is preferred. Cath Lab experience is preferred. Employee Referral Bonus - $5,000 Answer the call to fulfill the Mission.
