The VCU Health System's Medicine - Telemetry Department is currently looking for nursing students to fill their Care Partner vacancies. Qualified applicants must possess the following:
Education/training PREFERRED:
* Jr. and/or Sr. Nursing students Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
* Nursing students must prove completion of Fundamentals of Nursing courses as validated by the transcript for BSN, Associate Degree and Diploma Programs Level and type of experience REQUIRED * Junior or Senior Nursing Student. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to read and write English * Ability to lift patients in need of assistance * Ability to move and operate basic hospital equipment * Ability to perform sterile and non-sterile procedures * Demonstrated beginning clinical competency as required for the unit assigned * Ability to work as an effective health care team member:
skills of negotiation and collaboration * Knowledge and delivery of age-specific care
