Job Details:
Job Posting:25061 Reports to General Service Supervisor; receives direction from Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, or Dispatcher. Works cooperatively with other departments throughout the medical center. Interacts closely with patients and guests. The door attendant is primarily responsible for assisting patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, Gold Cross, etc., while establishing and maintaining a pleasant and helpful relationship. Other responsibilities include:
keeping the patient loading zones clear, transporting patients and specimens, calling taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles daily for patients and visitors, valet parking when required and assisting with traffic control. (1625) Department:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous hospital or clinical experience is preferred. Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication, telephone and human relation skills to interact with patients, guests and staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress. Works varied hours which may include days, evenings, days/evenings, holidays and weekends with rotating days off. Benefit Eligibility:
