We invite you to join our Information Technology team as an IT Support Specialist. This full-time career opportunity has a Monday thru Friday dayshift schedule with occasional on-call hours, and is based in our VRI diagnostic imaging center in San Jose. As an IT Support Specialist you'll:
* Implement, maintain, and support clinical imaging systems (PACS) and related Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and equipment. * Monitor imaging and data management systems for performance, capability and availability. * Perform job duties in a self-directed manner and in accordance with IT best practices ensuring that work is accomplished within appropriate timeframes. * Occasionally travel to our centers around the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley to provide IT support. * Troubleshoot and maintain the hardware and software components of network servers, PCs, and printers as needed. We're looking for knowledgeable and reliable IT professionals with knowledge of imaging and data standards including DICOM and HL. At least 2 years of work experience providing technical and helpdesk support for desktop and/or server class computers in a healthcare environment, as well as a college degree in Information Technology or related subject. Experience with Windows Operating systems, VNC, and technology infrastructure including:
networking (TCP/IP), security and user management, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
