Promotes the safety and security of hospital premises, staff patients, and visitors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Makes rounds of the hospital and grounds, logs unusual activity or circumstances related to the security of the facility and grounds. Locks and unlocks doors according to the schedule. Control after hours visitors entering the hospital. Responds to and coordinates Code Orange activities. Authorized to contact local law enforcement agencies for additional help during emergencies. Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and two or more years experience in security or law enforcement in the State of Texas preferred. Licensure, Certification & Registration Must have/obtain a valid security officer~s license from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Must hold a valid Texas driver~s license.
