Forbes listed Chubb as one of America?s 400 Best Big Companies.Chubb has maintained its reputation and financial stability with underwriting expertise, unparalleled customer service, unique industry-specific specialization and a deep respect for all of our employees.Currently, Chubb is seeking a Human Resource Analyst for the New York City office.The HR Analyst in NYC supports 4 HR Managers and 4 business operations, including the NYC Branch, the NJ Branch, the Eastern Specialty Risk Center and Chubb Custom Market nationally. This consists of approximately 550 employees in varying locations.The primary responsibilities of the Human Resources Analyst are:
- Serve as first point of contact for employees- Serve as liaison to Shared Services- Manage all HR processing (payroll changes, coding changes, overtime, terminations, hires, etc)- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and produce reports for all 4 business operations, including preparing and distribute quarterly and annual reports - Proactive management of the Total Compensation/Common Review Processes- Manage new hire onboarding including conducting new hire orientation- Support recruiting processes, including managing candidate scheduling and testing- Assist with ongoing budget analysis and annual expense budgeting- Responsible for composing accurate, concise e-mails, branch communications and announcements- Create presentations for HR programs and conduct HR presentations as needed- Manage the attendance tracking system and monitor attendance issues- Manage L&D course follow up - Provide project support for Eastern Territory HR Team- Serve as a point of contact for the Medical Response Team and assist as needed on the business continuity plan and emergency response planCompetencies/Technical Skills:
- Previous Human Resources experience desired- Strong customer service skills essential- Superior follow-up skills- Strong organizational skills- Ability to effectively deal with a broad spectrum of people- High degree of professionalism- Strong sense of urgency and ability to anticipate and manage issues- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and take initiative to resolve issues as required- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are required- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel - Skill in collaboratively responding to customer/department needs and working with others at all levels in the organization- Demonstrated ability to manage confidentialityChubb prides itself on the ability to provide all employees with an extraordinary work environment which promotes teamwork, diversity and incentives for those who exceed expectations.
